The Peace Within the Pieces of Life

"But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children. Psalm 103:17."

As the years come and go we find no pleasure in them; for each new day, month, or year is a reminder, one which brings us closer to the reality that we grow older, that each additional year makes us more aware of our shortcomings and our unfulfill expectations.

It is God's intention to lead us into wonderful paths, he has promised he will cause the rain to fall so that there will be showers of blessings. The trees of the field will yield their fruits and the ground will yield its crops, the people will be secure in their land, they will know that he is the Lord. As far as the east is from the west so far as he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 104:12) Neither has he dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.( Psalm 104:13.) Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remember that we are dust.

May we always remember God's tender mercies also his loving kindness;for they have been ever of old. (Psalm 25:6.) He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him, he will also hear their cry, and will save them. The Lord preserveth all them that love him. (Psalm 145:19 -20) In the midst of sorrow or joy we must see the blessings of the Lord, and acknowledge his providence in allowing all these things; lest we forget that it was he who created us, who knit us together when we were in our mother's womb. And yes we are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:13-14.)

No need to worry for the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. So let us endeavor to keep our hearts and mind upon his promises, and not let our hearts be drawn to what is evil. (Psalm 140:12;141:4) You are someone special, for you are the only one of your kind. He is the one who made you; you are unique, God does care for you; he knows even the street where you live, because you matter to him.
