Where Can I Find God?

The question is asked of many; can God be found? Where is God? Where is His dwelling place? and often many become frustrated when the answers they seek are not forth-coming.

Today God seeks to meet with you to show you his mystery and his treasury of wonderful gifts.  He is doing so in order that He might gain access to your heart. So allow Him to touch your heart today through His words. One of the most effective means God uses to reach us is through His words. The promises of the Lord can be trusted; they are as genuine as silver refined seven times in the furnace. The wicked are everywhere, and everyone praises what is evil. Keep us always safe, O Lord, and preserve us from such people. Psalm12:6,7,8; Proverbs 30:5; This enable Him to make an impression on our heart. There are many ways one can find God; Deuteronomy 29:29; 2Timothy 3;16-17 God can be found in creation, as you study the various aspect of all things both animate and inanimate we find the existence of a Creator.

The most effective tool in finding God is the study of His word. "In his disciples' presence Jesus performed many other miracles which are not written down in this book. But these have been written in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through your faith in him you may have life." John 20:31-32; 2 Peter 1:21. This comes to us through the Holy Scriptures, here we find the mind of God as He outlines to us His will. God reveal his truth to his prophets therefore we ought to search the Scriptures to learn of his will. Jeremiah 1:4-9; 1 Thessalonian 2:13. 

 He is teaching us letter by letter, line by line, lesson by lesson. Isaiah 28:10.  "And Jesus explained to them what was said about himself in all the Scriptures, beginning with the books of Moses and the writings of all the prophets." Luke 24:27. Men may err but the scriptures cannot and so we should search it and find God. "So then, we do not speak in words taught by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, as we explain spiritual truths to those who have the Spirit." 1 Corinthians 2:13.

A look at these questions asks of Job by God, gives us an idea how eagerly God awaits our enquiry so that He can open his storehouse of wisdom and teach us. God invites us through His words to get to know Him; He states if any lack wisdom in whatever area of your life you can ask of Him and he will teach you.

Job 38:17 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?   Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? 

Job 38:18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knows it all. 

Job 38:19 Where is the way where light dwells? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof?

Can God be found? Yes He can be found He says, “If you seek me you shall find me when you search for me with all you heart.” God has the answer for all your problems.  Cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you. Take Him at His word, He is more than able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you ever ask or imagine.
