God's Last Call

Christ is engaged in the judgement of his people, soon this work of judgement will be over. What are you doing to ensure that your name is written and stays in the Book of life, That you might inherit eternal life, the abundant life which Christ promised all who believe in him will receive. When Christ finishes this work then the case of all men would be decided. The awful decree will be pronounced: "He who is filthy let him be filthy still, he that is unjust let him be unjust still, and he that is righteous let him be righteous still." (Revelation 22:11).

Christ is coming, and when he comes his dominion will be forever, it shall not pass away, neither will it be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-`14).In the book of Revelation We read"Behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (Revelation 22:12). God always warn his children, he will not allow evil to befall them without giving them the opportunity to mend their ways.

Like the Antediluvian world God sent warning through his servant Noah, who preached for one hundred and twenty years and in all that time his children did not take heed and history tells us the world was destroyed by a flood just as Noah had warned them about and only eight people were saved, Noah, his wife and three sons and their wives. The prophet Jonah also was given instruction from God to warn the people of Nineveh of the destruction of their city, they heeded the warning and were spared.

As we look around we can see signs that signifies that the king is even at the door. Everywhere there is infidelity, and apostasy, men's heart are failing because of the evil that is prevalent in our world today. All these were predicted and today we see the fulfilment. Today God's last call of mercy is for all to turn from their sins and accept him that it may be well with their souls. Today God is calling men back to his true day of rest, the true Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, instead of the keeping of the first day of the week, a day which God has not commanded. (Exodus 20:8-11). we are not saved by keeping the law but we keep it because we are saved.

The standard of God is being lifted up and everywhere men and women are heeding the call. What about you? will you give him your heart today? Will you heed his call of mercy and turn from your sins and accept his righteousness through faith? Remember my friends the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord. (Romans 6:23)
