The Pearl of Great Price

Jesus is compared to a precious pearl. The pearl of great price, the parable of the merchantman seeking goodly pearls "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it." Christ Himself is the pearl of great price. In Him is gathered all the glory of the Father, the fullness of the Godhead.

The Parable of the Tares

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

The Second Coming Of Christ

The coming of the Lord can be found all over the Bible.  Although we see many are skeptical about the return of Christ the scripture can be trusted. It was accurate on the first coming of Christ and you can be sure it will be just as accurate on his second return.

Various terms are used to depict the coming of Christ, in the constantly recurring predictions of the Second Coming of Christ a number of Greek words are used having distinct meaning. Ten leading Greek terms used are: Parousia - "The coming of the Lord draweth nigh" (James 5:8).
Erchomai ---- "Occupy till I come" (Luke 19:13)
Apokalupto --- "When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed." (2 Thessalonians 1:7).
Epiphaneia --- "The appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 6:14)

The Word

Holiness is not ecstasy: It is the surrender of our will to God;  living by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. It is trusting God in trial, in darkness as well in the light. In every request and in every promise of the word of God is power. When we prayerfully study the Bible we become wiser and understand the will of our father God, better as the Lord quicken our understanding. We should endeavour to search the Scriptures, whenever there is opportunity, that we may be better able to discern truth from error.
