GODS PARDONING LOVE is so wonderful, it not only cares for us, but it casts all our sins into the bottom of the ocean and remembers them no more. “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:.” Romans 5:1.
Christ’s love is eternal; the plan of salvation was designed by God long before the creation of this world. “Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ." 1 Peter 1:18-19. God put this gift of salvation in place in order to ensure we will be with him throughout eternity, if that is not love I don't know what is.
This gift in the form of a baby, who later became a man, was God's way to rescue us from the clutches of sin and death. This was our Saviour exercising his love for all; a part of God’s eternal purpose. Jesus was the Lamb of God, “Slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:8). God did not leave man without hope. He bore our grief, and carried our sorrows. He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities: what awesome love.
The world was lost. You were lost. I was lost. This was why he came to this earth, “For the Son of man comes to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10.Thank God, Christ came and paid the full price of our salvation.
FRIENDS, our heavenly Father is always thinking of His children. The Psalmist says, Lord thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understands my thoughts afar off. You compass my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knoweth it altogether." Psalm 139:1-4.
God does not sleep, he is constantly working things out for the best good of those that love and serve him. He earnestly desires that we should have a part in the world to come, and he has made the provision for all to be there.
