Is there a God?

In the beginning God; many have asked is there a God? The bible teaches there is a God; in Genesis chapter 1 we read the whole account of creation. In verse 2 it states the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. In the book of Psalm David said. "Thou sends forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renew the face of the earth. Here we find in the first book - Genesis chapter 1 outline the whole creation story and ended with God rested and pronounced his creation Good.

In John 1:1-3 we are told that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. Here we see that Jesus was the Word, he was present when the world was created and that it was he who created all things that were created.

Paul an apostle of Jesus acknowledged that it was Christ who was the creator of heaven and earth in colossians 1:16 we read. "For by him were all things created that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones and dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

In the book of Hebrew we read, "God who at sundry times and in divers manner spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son by whom also he made the worlds:

In the book of Job God established the fact that he indeed is the creator of the world; in Job 38 God questioned Job from the realm of creation. "Who has divided a water-course for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightening of thunder? When reading the whole of chapters 38-41 we see Questions being asked that proves it is only God who is able to answer these questions, for it is he who has created all things.

Yes my friends there is a God and he is the creator of all things. So you can trust him today, he is the word, he is the light, he is the way and he is the truth. He loves you and someday he is coming to reclaim this world. "Surely I come quickly, the grace of our Lord be with you all." Revelation 22:20-21.
