God's Inexhaustible Strength
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
God gives power to the faith
It is God who is the all powerful one and able to deliver us from trouble; he provides the necessary ability to anyone who ask him for help.
Anyone who is ready to faint under afflictions, because they have not immediate deliverance, or their prayers are not answered at once, or promises not fulfilled as they expected; to such he gives fresh supplies of spiritual strength; he strengthens their faith, and enlarges their views, to behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, and confirms his blessings and promises of grace unto them. (Psalm 27:13)
To them that have no might he increases strength;
Not that they have no might at all. Strictly speaking, for then it could not be properly said their strength was increased by him; but that their might and power were very small. and that in their own apprehensions they had none, and then it is that fresh strength is given them; as the apostle says "when I am weak, then am I strong", (2 Corinthians 12:10), understand though this may be understood, not of the strength of their graces but of their sins and corruptions: a word from the same root as this here used signifies "iniquity", and the sense may be, that the Lord increases the spiritual strength of such on whom the lust's, corruptions, and virtuosity of nature have not the power and dominion.
They that wait
all those who wait on God will not be put to shame; God will renew their strength as the apostle says "We do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, of the affliction we experienced in Asia; for we were so utterly, unbearably crushed that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death so that we would rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He who rescued us from so deadly a peril will continue to rescue us; on him we have set our hope that he will rescue us again. therefore we can mount up with wings like eagle for the Lord God of hosts, hear our prayer; So their is no need for any to faint because we believe that we shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. So we Wait - A prerequisite of all who trust completely in the Lord. All those who wait on the Lord , those who rely upon him. Renew their strength - they grow stronger and stronger.
